All workHow a story ad sells.
The ad is 51 seconds long and has six beats. Each one has a specific job: stop the scroll, keep attention, answer a doubt, get the viewer to act. Nothing in it feels like an ad, so people watch it the way they’d watch a scene from real life.
- 00:01Hook“Who’s the hottie?”Stops the scroll · 0–3 sIt opens on a question nobody has answered yet. People want to hear the answer, so they stop scrolling. There’s no logo and no product, because on Meta anything that looks like an ad in the first second gets skipped.
- 00:06Discovery“Twenty pounds.”Result before methodWe show the result first and explain it later. Now the viewer wants to know how she did it, so they keep watching past the first three seconds. Meta notices and shows the ad to more people.
- 00:15A secretSomeone leaves. They start whispering.Pattern break · RetentionSomeone walks out, the music goes down and the two friends lean in. It’s a trick from film: when people on screen start whispering, the audience listens harder. Most ads lose viewers around the middle, and this is where we pull them back in.
- 00:18Proof“I did this quiz.”Product as the answerThe product comes up because her friend asks, not because someone is selling it. Each benefit answers one of her friend’s doubts, the same doubts a real customer would have.
- 00:38Decision“Send me the link.”Self-persuasionNobody tells the viewer to buy anything. The friend makes up her mind, and the viewer tends to follow. People trust a decision they saw someone make more than anything a brand says about itself.
- 00:44Callback“He wasn’t in the plan.”Payoff · CTAThe joke from the first second comes back at the end, and the punchline is “plan”, the same word the product is built on. People rewatch and share an ad with a good ending, and the CTA shows up while they’re still smiling.
We’d rather be on your team
than on your vendor list.
We want to be in your meetings, know your numbers and work as part of your team, not as an agency you send a brief to once a month.
It’s hard to find one person who knows film, editing, advertising, AI and social ads. So we put people from film and television on the same team as people who make AI ads for social media.
We believe that what convinces sells.
The Ad War.
Our own short film. We wrote, directed and produced it in-house.
Watch the filmEveryone uses the same AI tools. The difference is the idea and the plan behind each ad.
